Unter dem Motto „Kostenloses Kino zum Anfassen und Mitspielen für jung und alt – von der Filmrolle zum Filmplakat“ laufen im Alexa-store im zweiten Obergeschoss Klein-Events mit monatlich wechselnden Filmplakat-Ausstellungen und Filmszenen-Fotos, mit täglichem Wirbel um Filmrollen (8 mm, 16 mm, 35 mm, 70mm – demonstriert auf echten Kino- und kleinen Kofferprojektoren).
„Vom Schul- und Unterrichtsfilm der Großeltern bis zum Monumentalfilm“ kann somit die Kinogeschichte anhand der Originalmaterialien in ihrer Einzigartigkeit ertastet und einleuchtend erklärt werden.
Das Angebot startet dann mit der bis dato umfangreichsten „Fotogalerie zu Filmtheater-Gebäuden an Berliner Schauplätzen seit 1895“ und mit „ausgewählten Filmplakaten und Filmszenenfotos -Eröffnungsthema: Berlin-Filme in Filmpostern aus allen Epochen“.
Auf durchleuchteten Wall Charts illuminiert Kinomuseum Berlin exotische Filmschnipsel wie in einer Briefmarkenkollektion: bekannte oder exotische Bild- und Tonformate des Rollfilms (von seiner Entstehung in der Kamera, seiner aufwendigen Bearbeitung in Filmkopierwerken bis hin zur Auslieferung in den Kinos inklusive derer Programme und Versionsgeschichten) werden auf diese Weise lebendig moderiert.

Der Workshop von Kinomuseum Berlin „Wie führt man einen Film vor?“, findet montags um 15 Uhr statt und der Workshop „Cinema History – Kinogeschichte“ samstags um 13 Uhr.
Weitere allround-Informationen, Ausstellungen und Filmeinlagen von Montag bis Samstag stets von 12 Uhr bis 20 Uhr im betreuten Kinomuseums-store.

Under the motto „Free entrance cinema to touch and play along with for young and old – from film reel to film poster“, small events with monthly changing film poster exhibitions and film scene photos will run in the Alexa-store on the second floor, with a daily fuss about film reels (8 mm, 16 mm, 35 mm, 70mm – demonstrated on real cinema and small suitcase projectors). „From the school and educational film of the grandparents to the monumental film“, the history of cinema can thus be explored in its uniqueness and explained in an insightful way using the original materials.
The offer will start with the most comprehensive „Photo Gallery of Film Theatre Buildings at Berlin Locations since 1895“ to date and with „Selected Film Posters and Film Scene Photos – Opening Theme: Berlin Films in Film Posters from all Eras“.
On illuminated wall charts, Kinomuseum Berlin illuminates exotic film snippets as if in a stamp collection: well-known or exotic image and sound formats of reel film (from its creation in the camera, its elaborate processing in film copying plants to its delivery in cinemas, including their programmes and version histories) are vividly presented in this way.
The coming Kinomuseum Berlin workshop „How do I become a cinema projectionist?“, „In which Berlin cinema did my favourite films first run?“ takes place on Monday at 3 pm and the workshop „How do I restore a film machine?“ on Saturdays at 1 pm. More all-round information, exhibitions and film interludes from Monday to Saturday always from 12 noon to 8pm in the supervised cinema museum store.
A rollercoaster 70mm Todd AO screening was realised for the opening as well as 16mm films.
